古楽マメ知識②−RenaissanceFlute

この私が吹いているフルートはルネサンス期 (1500 〜1650以降頃)に演奏されていたフルートです。
特徴は、分割ができない円柱形の管にトーンホールが6つ開いているだけのシンプルな構造です。
ルネサンスフルートの音色は明るく澄んでいて、よく響きます。
ですが、このフルートはピッチの調節ができず、半音を出すのが苦手で、音量が弱いために次第に廃れていってしまいます。

The flute I hold is a flute that was played during the Renaissance (from 1500 to 1650 and onwards). 
It is a cylindrical tube that can not be divided as it made in one piece of wood. 
It has a simple structure with only six tone holes. The tone of renaissance flute is pure, brilliant and resonates well. 
The pitch of that flute could not be adjusted, it was not good at making semitones, and the volume was low, so it gradually became obsolete.

La flûte que j’utilise est une flûte du style de la Renaissance (de 1500 à 1650 et après). 
C’est un tube cylindrique fait d’une seule pièce de bois. 
Elle a une structure simple avec seulement six trous de tonalité. Le ton de la flûte renaissance est pur, brillant et résonne bien. 
Le pitch de cette flûte n'etait pas ajustable, elle n'était pas bonne pour faire des demi-tons et le volume était faible, donc elle est devenue progressivement obsolète.

We love the Paris Notre Dame Cathedral!

I woke up to the sad news, was in shock all day. At first I thought it was some kind of fake clickbait news, then I realised it was for real and spent the rest of the day in a state of shock. I was speechless.

<Mini history of Notre-Dame cathedral>
The most famous of all ND cathedrals is the one in Paris on the riverbank of the Seine, the river that flows through Paris.
The construction began in 1163, but the cathedral was just 850 years old in 2013, as the building itself runs across history, taking many years.

Please when rebuilding it, pay respect to the original architecture, the most beautiful of all!
This is most certainly what the French and people across the world wish to see again.
The Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris has many fans across the world, including Japan.
I am just one of them.

今日はとてもショックな、朝のニュースで目覚めました。
冗談だと思って見ていた映像が、事実だとわかった瞬間に言葉がなくなりました。

<ノートルダム聖堂 Mini History>
「ノートルダム聖堂」という名前の教会は世界各地に存在します。
Notre ノートル=「私たちの」dame ダム =「貴婦人」という意味で、キリスト教の聖母マリアを指しています。
つまり聖母マリアに捧げられた聖堂が「ノートルダム聖堂」と名付けられているのです。
そして数あるノートルダム聖堂のなかでも最も有名なのが、パリのノートルダム大聖堂です。
パリ市内を流れるセーヌ川の中にあるシテ島に建設されました。1163年に建設が始まったので、2013年で850歳を迎えたばかりでした！長い長い歴史を持った建物です。
フランスにおいてキリスト教会の中心的な地位にありましたが、1789年のフランス革命以降に起こる反キリスト教運動によって破壊されるなど多大な被害を受けましたが、1864年に修復されて元の姿に戻りました。
あの美しい姿よ、どうか再び！ファンの一人として心から願っています…

私は桜が好きです、大好きです。
理由はなぜだかよくわかりません。
とにかく桜を見ると気分がよくなるんです。
この時期は上ばかり見て歩いているので、ちょっと危なかしいです。
J'aime les fleurs de cerisier.
Je ne connais pas la raison.
Mais ça me fait me sentir mieux.

Did you know that Japanese people love Hanami (flower viewing)?
Hanami is a Japanese custom about admiring the cherry blossoms in spring.
Hanami in Japan is said to originate from events linked to nobles during the Nara period(710–794). During that time, plum trees that had just arrived from China were admired, and in the Heian period(794–1185), they were replaced by cherry blossoms (sakura). It is said that Hanami's customs were widely spread among the people in the Edo period(1603-1868).

Hanami est une coutume Japonaise: on admire les fleurs, principalement de cerisier, au printemps.
Hanami au Japon serait originaire d’événements liés à la noblesse pendant la période Nara(710–794). À l'époque de Nara, les pruniers qui venaient d'arriver de Chine étaient admirés et, à l'époque de Heian(794–1185), ils ont été remplacé par les fleurs de cerisier. On dit que les coutumes d’Hanami étaient largement répandues parmi le peuple à l'époque d'Edo(1603-1868).
